Install Minecraft (Java)
You'll need the Java edition of Minecraft on your PC or Mac — that's the platform the network is built for first.
Connect to one IP
Open the multiplayer screen and add the server using the single address below. No need to remember a different IP per gamemode.
Pick your world
You'll land in the lobby and choose your gamemode. Survival SMP is open to everyone — no whitelist needed.

Frequently asked questions
What IP do I connect to?
Everyone starts from the same address — play.6thdimensionservers.com. Once you're in, you pick which world to join from the lobby. No need to remember a different IP per gamemode.
Is the server Java or Bedrock?
We're a Java server first, with Bedrock support planned once the network is fully live. Join the Discord to be first to know when crossplay lands.
Which Minecraft versions can I play on?
The network targets recent Java versions (1.20+). Latest versions are always supported — if you're on an older release, updating usually solves it.
Do I need to apply or get whitelisted?
No. The worlds are open to anyone — just connect. Some special builds or events may ask you to sign up, but the core Survival SMP is public.
Is there a player economy?
Yes — Survival SMP has a player-run economy with shops, trades and a shared spawn. What it looks like exactly gets decided with the community on Discord.
I'm stuck or something is broken. Who do I ask?
Come to the Discord. Staff and long-time players hang out there, and it's the fastest way to get help or report a bug.
